Kevin was selected as our Senior Pastor in February of 2020 after serving over five years as our Worship and College Pastor. Kevin is married to April who is an ultrasonographer and they are parents to college students Tyler & Lainey. A native of Florala, Alabama, he holds degrees from Troy University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He was raised in church but never truly followed Christ until he was 26 years old. God called him into ministry while he was working as a systems operator in a nuclear plant. Kevin enjoys fishing, hunting, sports, music, and spending time with family.

Grayson joined our staff in March of 2020. He grew up at West Mobile, serving in both student and adult worship ministries as a volunteer. Grayson surrendered to ministry in 2014 and graduated from the University of Mobile where he received a B.S. in Worship Leadership with a focus in church ministry.

Before coming back to WeMo, Grayson traveled for 2 years singing in a Southern Gospel group out of the University of Mobile called Deliverance 5. Grayson is married to Rachel and loves the outdoors, black coffee, and looks forward to leading you as we worship our King!

Donna has served on ministry staff at West Mobile since 2006. She comes from the “country” in Northwest Georgia. Donna earned a Ph.D. in Leadership in 2017, completing her Masters at Southwestern Seminary and Bachelor’s at Shorter University earlier.

She leads adult education and age-level groups, and she also handles women’s discipleship & greeter ministries. Her hobbies are reading and travel (over 65 countries so far) with her husband Thomas, who is Associational Missionary for Mobile Baptist Association. She is a writer of curriculum, articles, and Bible studies in over 50 publications.

They are the parents to two grown children, Jason & Amy.

Kendra is our Children’s Minister, coming on board in 2017. She graduated from Auburn University with a dual major in Early Childhood Education and Family & Child Development. She and her husband Kyle have been members of WMBC since 1993. Originally from Greenwood, SC., she taught elementary school for six years before coming home to raise and homeschool her children, Hayden & Jillian, who are now adults.

Kendra has been involved in many ministries of our church through the years, helps with our food and clothing ministries, and would love to meet you and your children and see how they can participate in WeMo Kids.

Jen is our Child Development Center Director. She’s previously held this position for nearly a decade and returns to us after taking some time off to focus on her role as a foster and now adoptive parent.

Jen holds an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Religious Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and completed her master’s degree at USM in Child and Family Sciences. Advocating for children and helping families find the resources they need is her passion. Jen is a wife, mother to six, and an avid animal rescuer. She loves traveling to “all the places” and you do not have to ask her twice to join you at the beach. Her favorite scripture is Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Tami and her husband Byron have raised their two children at West Mobile. Tami is a native of Oklahoma but has made her home in Mobile for 27 years and has been at WEMO during that entire time. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southwest Oklahoma State University. She serves our preschoolers and their families on a part-time basis.

Fun fact: she is mom to our Worship Pastor, Grayson. Tami’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3. Your kids will be blessed by meeting Ms. Tami.
