Wemo Grow Groups

Join a Grow Group at WeMo

There are many types of Grow Groups offered at WeMo. Some focus on a season of life, while others address specific situations in life. Regardless of what Grow Group you choose to take part in, you are sure to strengthen your relationship with the Lord and others.

There are 2 types of Grow Groups: Sunday Grow Groups (meeting Sundays at 9:45 a.m. at WeMo) and Weekday Grow Groups (meeting at various days & locations). We also have male and female discipleship groups that are not listed here, but are available. Look below for a group, time & location that works best for you.

Sunday Adult Grow Groups

Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

We believe spiritual growth occurs best in the context of a Grow Group, and every believer attending WEMO is challenged to attend a group on a regular basis. Go by the info desk and they will help you find and walk you to a Grow Group.

In addition to the open groups listed below, our church has discipleship groups that meet weekly. These are small gender-specific groups designed for accountability, fellowship, and spiritual growth. To get into a men’s group, contact Grayson Holt. To get into a women’s group, contact Donna Wright. You can email either one directly from the church staff page.

HELPFUL HINTS

  • Our Grow Groups are places where you can connect with others from WEMO. You can belong to a group by just attending. You are free to attend several groups before making a decision on which to join.
  • Couples who differ in age are recommended to choose the youngest aged spouse class to attend.
  • Single adults can attend any adult group except college (limited to those in college) and Young Pros which is limited to those under thirty years of age.
  • Young Pro’s group is primarily for those single and under 30. If you are in grad school, you may find a better fit in this group than with the college group. We do have a few married couples in young pros.

What is a Discipleship Group (DGroup)?

Discipleship groups are all men or all women groups where they have committed together to grow spiritually. They study the Bible, learn scripture, and support each other. An additional aspect not found in a Grow Group is an element of accountability to each other to strengthen your Bible study habits and application of scripture together. Contact Donna Wright to find a Dgroup.
