Read this important information about VBS:
Parents,
Please be sure you have registered your child for VBS. You can register the first night but we can prepare better if you do it now.
Please bring your child into the building each night and help them check in at the desk inside the Worship Center and find their seat in the Worship Center. Leaders will be in place by 5:50 each evening to give supervision.
So that we do not have a dangerous situation in our parking lot each evening, we conduct a carpool type line so the children can safely get into your car. You will receive a carpool tag that you should display when you arrive on our campus and get in line for dismissal at 8:30. Watch for the yellow-vested security guys who will direct you. If you are taking home children who are not yours, please let our registrars know when you arrive for check in and ask their parents to note that as well.
Vacation Bible School is an exciting week of fun and learning. Coming every evening will help children get the most from the drama, games, crafts, and music. Don’t miss a single night.
On Thursday night, we have family night. This is a night when the children will show you what they have learned. You are invited to come and bring guests with you to the worship center at 6:30 to see the children sing their music and get a glimpse into their week at our church. Following that, we will have a reception in the fellowship hall. You are invited. Be aware that VBS will end about an hour early—at 7:30 that night. We hope you can come.
We take an offering every night. Children are given nightly goals to reach as we collect money to help two important ministries our church supports: Guatemala Missions and Operation Christmas Child. Bringing an offering is not required but we encourage the children to bring something each night so they can march to the front to place their offering.
Parents, if you stay in the building during VBS, you will need to remain in the Worship Center. For security purposes, we lock the exits, and only screened workers are allowed in the rooms around the children. Please understand that this is not to keep you from your child, but to ensure that only those who should be with your child are there.
We hope your child thoroughly enjoys VBS. Your entire family is invited to join us here on Sunday mornings. We have small groups for every age, birth through adult, at 9:00 and worship at 10:15. This is our summer time schedule.
